正直，廉潔，一致，誠信的意思。當提及一個人的品格時， Integrity 指其內外一致，沒有矛盾，具有精神上的涵義。

香港南華早報大字標题的提及:

Hong Kong justice secretary home controversy prompts review of integrity checks

報導是關於最近香港任命了新的律政司而發現了她家中可能有僭建問題，於是帶出了一連串關於審查政府高級官員品格的反響。

例如:

No one doubted that the president was the man of highest integrity.

没有人質疑總統是最高品格廉潔的人。

當Integrity 與product 產品用在一起時， product integrity 是指某一產品的完整性。

Business integrity 用在一起時是指商業信譽。

當電腦電子專業人仕提及data integrity 時，卻是關乎電子信息的安全問題。

所以，Integrity 這名詞用法也是挺廣泛的。
